UMMC Fellowship/Training Attachment Programme

General Requirement

Has a Master's Degree / Clinical Master or equivalent, recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) as stated in the List of Registrable Qualifications Per Second Schedule, Medical Act 1971 here;
Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MPM);
Approved for Professional Visit Pass (PLIK) visa by the Immigration Department of Malaysia;
Supported by Head of Clinical Department; and
Approved by UMMC Credentialing and Privileging Committee (C&P).

Specific Requirement

Clinical Attachment Training
Training are subject to limited clinical training or clinical observation only; Maximum training duration is twelve (12) months; and Other requirements are based on the modules and training structures for each department as described in the Programme Offered section.

Clinical Fellowship Training
Hands-on training; Duration of training from one (1) to three (3) years; and Other requirements are based on the modules and training structures for each department as described in the Programme Offered section.

Subspecialty Training
Hands-on training; Training period is more than three (3) years; and Other requirements are based on the modules and training structures for each department as described in the Programme Offered section.
